22 Bishopsgate appoints partner to optimise energy and billing services

As 22 Bishopsgate prepares for a busy start to 2021, Optimised Energy have been hard at work with the Engineering team over the last year to develop powerful energy monitoring and billing systems throughout the building. Together, the parties have customised a bespoke utility recharging methodology for the occupiers, built on market leading technology and industry compliant services. Many buildings around the country are yet to comply with RICS guidelines for utility recharging. Steps taken at 22 Bishopsgate have ensured that occupiers will be receiving the highest standards in energy management and utility recharging.

As part of Optimised Energy’s role they are responsible for procuring green energy supplies, and are exploring options for long term corporate Power and Gas Purchase Agreements with local renewable energy generators. In addition, they are hosting a best of breed energy management system, handling utility apportionment, and helping the building achieve its ambitious sustainability objectives.
